California Phlebotomy School and Certification
In medicine phlebotomy is the process venipuncture or venepuncture which is the way of puncturing intravenously for the goal of drawing a sample of a patient’s blood. This job is be performed by medical practitioners, some Emergency Medical Technicians, paramedics and other nursing staff.

California is one of only two states that require Phlebotomists to complete coursework and an externship before taking the national phlebotomy certification test.
