I filed chapter 7 back in Dec 2001 when it was discharged.
My credit card company supplies TransUnion scores and credit history every month and it shows that the derogratory item (which was 1 for bankruptcy) is now 0.
So was my bankruptcy removed and why was it removed after only 6.5 years?
Was the bankruptcy moved or the creditors debt removed. The bankruptcy should be listed seperate from the debt….The creditor debt will only show on your report for 7 years..I wouldn't worry too much over it.Your bankruptcy should show for 10 years and be listed under public records, and have you pulled all three bureaus???? Sometimes, all information isn't the same on all of them, so, no telling why TransUnion didn't list it…..If you're concerned..call them
