My friend just told me that he did the preliminaries to start to file for Chapter 13 over the phone and it cost him 95.00. Did he just get scammed?
If you live in the states – yes – you can't file unless you've completed a trustee approved financial class…..he got scammed. I hope he didn't give out all his credit #'s & soc sec & date of birth, etc….
