I am filing for bankruptcy 7 protection today. I had a "CD" that was closed about 6-8 months ago. Does this
need to reported on my bankruptcy paperwork? The CD was for about $15000.00.

The money was used when I bought my house. If I had the money, I would of disclosed it. I am asking a simple question about a "CD" that is closed.

don't you have a lawyer that did the bankruptcy for you? if not, don't you think that is a foolish question? don't you think you are required to disclose your assets? do you have the $15000 now?

If you don't have it now, then its not an asset. No, you don't have to disclose that.
